A private owner's view of the bakery. It's the one piece not yet on your platform (so it isn't on the status page yet) — a new build we'd add over September–October. In plain terms:
A fixed $1,340 keeps the whole platform running — the software, hosting, the live QuickBooks and shop links, and messaging. It also includes up to 3 hours of support and small changes.
When we build something new — a feature, the management dashboard — it shows as its own line that month. Quiet months are subscription only.
One invoice a month from Shelley's QuickBooks. Some months it's just the $1,340. Some months it's the $1,340 plus the work we shipped.
A single all-in price, not a per-tool bill — the split above is indicative of what the monthly covers, and it's here so you can always see the makeup. Anything beyond the included 3 hours, or a bigger new build, is quoted and agreed with you first.
When we first set this up, the platform was smaller, and the modest monthly figure we pencilled in reflected that. Since then it has grown a lot — a live QuickBooks invoicing link that runs around the clock, the shop-to-retail-partner order link that fires on every order, the move to Superchat for your WhatsApp reminders, and more besides.
So that first figure no longer matches what the platform actually does, or what it costs us to keep it running day and night. Rather than reach back and bill you for the in-between months at a number that doesn't reflect today's service, we're drawing a clean line: your subscription starts properly in August at $1,340/mo — the real all-in cost of everything it now does — and we're not back-charging you for the earlier months. Simpler, and fair both ways.

The Module 1 balance isn't billed twice — it's simply carried into this month's single invoice. And as explained above, the earlier subscription months aren't being back-charged.
The subscription ($1,340/mo). A single all-in price covering every tool the platform runs on (ordering & shop, hosting, database, messaging), the two custom links we built and keep running for you — the live QuickBooks invoicing and the shop→kitchen order flow — plus messaging fees and 3 hours of monthly support.
The June–August work (~49 hrs). Taken straight from our dated work log — the same features you can see on your platform status page: the checkout journey, the WhatsApp reminder roll-out, the pickup shop and its kitchen link, the QuickBooks go-live, delivery notes, pricing and Italia fixes, and the final wholesale close-off. Charged at a blended $75/hr.
Management dashboard (~$3,750). Scoped against the larger executive dashboard we built for another operating client, scaled to what the bakery needs, with a contingency buffer. Fixed price agreed before work begins.
The earlier subscription months. The platform ran at a smaller scope and price in its first months. Rather than back-bill those at a figure that no longer matches today's service, we start the subscription clean in August at the true all-in rate and don't charge for the gap.
The forecast. August is your actual invoice. September–October carry the dashboard build if you go ahead. From November it's the steady $1,340/mo — subscription only, unless you ask for new work.
